Understanding LCM and HCF
Least Common Multiple (LCM)
The LCM of two or more numbers is the smallest positive integer that is perfectly divisible by all the given numbers. For example, the LCM of 4 and 6 is 12.
Highest Common Factor (HCF)
Also known as Greatest Common Divisor (GCD), the HCF is the largest positive integer that divides all the given numbers without leaving a remainder. For example, the HCF of 12 and 18 is 6.
