Adding GST
If you want to add GST to a base amount, the formula is:
GST Amount = (Original Cost × GST%) / 100
Net Price = Original Cost + GST Amount
Removing GST
If you have a bill that is "inclusive of GST", and you want to find the base price without GST:
Base Amount = (Net Price / (100 + GST%)) × 100
