The "Rule of Thumb" for Air Fryers
Air fryers cook food significantly faster than conventional ovens because of their compact size and rapid air circulation. If you put food in an air fryer at the same temperature and time as an oven recipe, it will burn.
How to convert mentally:
- Reduce the temperature: Drop the original oven temperature by 25°F (or roughly 15°C).
- Reduce the time: Cut the cooking time by 20%.
